International ADEC, institution since 1998 is dedicated to organizing cultural exchanges, announced the opening of new cultural and labor exchange programs to Portugal and France.
Farah Lara, president of the organization, reported that ADEC is the pioneer and unique in Dominican Republic in offer these two new european destinations.
Lara noted that since early July the ninth-semester student of the career of Tourism; of the Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago (UTESA); Magdelin Estévez, left for Portugal where they will live a true cultural exchange, where she will have the opportunity to study and work .
"Now we will send to Carolina Pena to France; also student of Tourism, where she will do an intensive course of French, and after she will do internship in hotels, these cover her stays, meals and give a contribution of $ 200 to her", said Lara.
According with the declarations done by Lara, this program will allow dominican young can expand their horizons, not only in United States, where ADEC offers the traditional "Summer Work USA" (summer jobs in United States), also in Europe, which will be beneficial in the training of future professionals, because once they return to the Dominican Republic may submit a curriculum more attractive and more fluent in the language of the host country.
The program is offered throughout the year, being necessary to apply five or six months in advance, at the offices of ADEC Locatel in Santiago and directed by her President-Founder; Mrs. Farah Lara, in Santo Domingo by Mrs. Soraya Lara.
